I would like to thank the store and vendor members of IACS for making our Fall 2005 meeting at Pheasant Run such a success. There were 21 stores in attendance 10 of which brought other employees to the meeting or trade show. The vendor show was well attended with 45 vendors including 10 first timers. A special thank you goes to Randy Storm whose two part presentation on customer service received excellent reviews from attendees.  I'd like to congratulate Lynne Durin, our VP, for suggesting a disc jockey as entertainment on Monday night. The meeting evaluations talked about how much fun members had dancing the night away and meeting new people.

Speaking of the meeting evaluation, if you didn't have a chance to fill one out you can click here to do it on line. The evaluations and your comments to board members do give valuable insight as we make decisions for the next meeting. The board has already discussed several ideas including moving the business meeting to a different day, getting meeting information out sooner, creating a new type of member registration and vendor sponsorship of events. Next year you'll definitely see some changes. If you would like to be part of those changes, you can also fill out an "I Want to Participate" form that lets us know we can contact you to help with next year's meeting and where you are interested in serving.

We are already working on a site for next year's 35th Anniversary meeting as well as the location of our Illinois party in New Orleans. If you filled out a participation form - you'll be hearing from us.
